Pillars of Service: Veterans Day Field of Flags
The Salisbury Chamber of Commerce is proud to organize and sponsor the Pillars of Service veterans day tribute. A field of flags dedicated to the men and women who valiantly served this country, in times of war and periods of peace, in all branches of the United States military.
Each veteran honored will have an American flag and an aluminum plaque showing their branch of service, years of service and accolades.
$15 per flag
How to honor a veteran
- Fill out the Honor a Vet form on this page. Please fill out one form for each veteran.
- Pay $15 per flag at one of these Chamber members:
- The Chariton Marquee, 110 E 2nd Street, Salisbury
- The Garden Gallery, 305 East Weber, Salisbury
- Forms and payment must be received by Monday, November 2, so we have time to get every plaque made.
Your flag is reserved once both your form and payment are received.
The display
The Field of Flags will be on display at the corner of Hwy 24 and Hwy 129 in Salisbury (Regional Missouri Bank) for Veteran’s Day each year. The display is lit at night and can be viewed day or night.
